ABAC Men’s Golf Team Captain Stewart Rustin received an award from the PING GCAA (Golf Coaches Association of America) commemorating Rustin’s outstanding play in both regional and national competitions in 2022-2023.
“Stew’s year was just solid. He qualified and played in every tournament his freshman year. He had a couple top 5 finishes, a couple other top 10 finishes as an individual.” Coach Henry “Sonny” Skinner said, “He also earned a first team position for the East Region. His finish in the District Championship got him into the National Championship, and his fine play continued.”
Rustin was named to the PING East Team in May 2023 and was recognized as an NJCAA Division II All-Region East Team Winner.
“I am elated with my play last year. Now let’s get the whole team to the National Championship,” Rustin said.
Rustin was named team captain this year and looks forward to what the future brings for both himself and the team.
