The Stallions Dominate the Thomas University Night Hawks

On Wednesday, the Stallions outscored the Night Hawks 27-1 in a doubleheader at home. Both games only went 5 innings due to such a big lead.

The Stallions started the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with doubles by Jorge Pascual and Beau Brand and a single by Jack Witmer, making the Stallions’ lead 3-0. Two more runs were added in the second inning off a Peyton Chace Boines home run and a single by Joe Fisher to score Griffin Rowe.

The Night Hawks brought in their only run of the night off a double to make it a 5-1 game.

Chasin Cash grew the lead with a three run home run in the bottom of the third inning followed by another home run by Joe Fisher to make it an 11-1 game. The Stallions finished the game by adding five more runs to finish game 1, 16-1. ABAC pitchers Luke Norman and William Richards only allowed one run on five hits while striking out 8 batters.

In game 2, the scoring started early with the Stallions putting up six runs in the bottom of the first inning on five hits. The Stallions added five more runs on a Chasin Cash double, four walks and a Jorden Nathaniel single. The game ended in a 11-0 ABAC victory.

Pitchers Trypp Lumpkin, Logan Bolinger, Grayson Hopkins, and Colby Schachtner combined for five innings pitched allowing one hit and no runs.

The Stallions play another doubleheader on Friday the 17th versus Scoutz Post Grad at 1:00 and 3:30 p.m.
