On October 14, Dr. Dave Nelson held his first meeting in which he discussed his upcoming trip to Edinburgh, Scotland.
His first trip will be on the dates of May 23 till May 27th, and his second trip will be held from June 6th to June 18th. Helping him host these trips are Dr. Benita from Middle Georgia University and Dr. Buglewicz who will be joining ABAC on this trip for the first time. This trip in total will cost students $2000 plus the airline tickets.
During this trip Dr. Nelson will take students on guided tours throughout many of Scotland’s famous castles, museums, hikes through the Scottish Highlands, ghost tours, and many more activities. Throughout the span of this immersive two-week trip, students have the opportunity to explore the culture of Scotland through dancing, food, meeting new people, and exploring the town of Edinburgh and can travel to surrounding places like London and England on the weekend giving them opportunities to explore.
This trip is a great way for students to get out and explore the world around them, experience different cultures, and broaden their horizons. It also gives students the chance to make new memories, meet new kinds of people, and gain experiences they cannot have in the typical classroom setting.
The deadline to pay for the trip is April 25, 2027, but if you pay for the trip in full by January 1, you get 10% paid off your trip. Not only does USG offer this trip to Scotland, but they also offer trips to places like Portugal, the Caribbean, Spain, Paris and Ireland.
If you are interested in traveling with Dr. Nelson, he will be having a second meeting with a date posted soon, or you can email him at dave.nelson@abac.edu.
