Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) is a student-led Christian Bible study that offers students on the ABAC-Bainbridge campus
a space to learn about God and connect with others.

Mr. Bradley Crews, BCM campus minister, said, “BCM has been going on for about 12 years now. BCM is a place where you can fit in, be yourself, and find friendships that go deeper than the surface.”

“We’re a community where you’ll find acceptance and significance, not based on what you do, but on who you are in Christ. It’s where we connect with God and each other, growing through authentic discipleship relationships,” he continued.

Crews said, “Our goal is to see the power of the gospel bring real change to the lives of students at ABAC/SRTC [Southern Regional
Technical College] Bainbridge, equipping them to share that hope with the world.”

Every Tuesday night, Crews has a prepared lesson that he presents to those who are in attendance for this Bible study. He breaks down the scripture into multiple sections to better understand what is being said.

Each section of scripture is read by a student in attendance at the meeting, and after each section is read, Crews provides context and detail about what it means.

Each study concludes with a few points on how we can apply what we have just learned in our daily lives.

BCM is a great way for college students to attend a Bible study that is made up of fellow classmates. These students can fellowship with one another at BCM and share and connect with one another.

After each week’s Bible study, those who attend go out for a meal together at a local restaurant. These meals are provided through funding of BCM through the Bowen Baptist Association.

This meal afterwards allows for everyone to get to know each other more personally than by just going to Bible study.

BCM is a great opportunity to learn about God’s word and how to apply it to our lives. It is also a great way to connect with fellow believers who attend the same college as you and have a great time fellowshipping with new friends.

BCM takes place on the Bainbridge Campus on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in room 961 of the Student Wellness Center.
