Dear Filly, How can I take better notes during class?
Sincerely,
Note-Taking Nelly
Dear Note-Taking Nelly,
Okay Nelly, this is a fantastic question because so many of us never learned how to take notes properly! Everyone has their own way of course, but there are definitely several key things you should do to make sure you’re taking the best notes possible!
Make sure that everything is organized, so you can easily look back and reference them. I like to use bulleted lists, and then write the important information under it! For instance, if I’m taking notes about World War 2, I’d write “FDR“ and then make a bulleted list of the important things he did, such as the New Deal and D Day. I also recommend trying to keep things as brief as possible, that way you can not only take notes quicker, but also be able to study faster!
Sincerely, Filly
Dear Filly, How does it feel being the only horse in the classroom?
Sincerely, Not-a-Horse Harry
Dear Not-a-Horse Harry,
Let me tell you, first off ABAC desperately needs to enroll more horse students. Its so sad being the only stallion who is an ACTUAL HORSE! Guys can we get a petition going? We’re ABAC, horses are our thing!
To answer your question, it’s usually amazing! Students love me (that’s why the Stallion asked me to do this column!) and the professors are awesome! But I do have a hard time fitting into desks, plus I always get in trouble for neighing during tests. Oh, and sometimes classmates get really mad when they find out a literal horse did better then them on a test, and im like “Sorry! Not my fault that you scored lower then a literal horse, Filly cant help it if shes the smartest student with four hooves!”
Sincerely, Filly
