Dear Nathan,
I’m handling things okay! Each semester always has several points where things get tough, like midterms and final projects and exams coming up… BUT the good thing is that many of us have done this before and made it through, and we’ll get through this again this time! Each finals season, we get a bit more used to the workload, and although it’s still tough, we get better and better at studying and working each time! Just pace yourself, have self-compassion, and take deep breaths. If it’s your first finals season at ABAC, it may seem like a lot, but it’ll get easier! Just make sure to make time for things you enjoy and give yourself a little more time to study if possible—it’ll pay off during the exam!

Dear Samuel,
Oh, absolutely! Filly loves everybody, and everybody loves Filly, so of course I’m friends with other mascots! Y’all know that Thunder, Lightning, and me are the main trio, but me and Scrappy the Owl from Kennesaw are BFFs for life! And me and Blaze hang out all the time—we got dinner just last night! In fact, all the GA school mascots have a fun little yearly dinner, and we all hang out and catch up! Each time, it’s hosted by a different school, and the University of West GA hosted it last time. I got to meet Wolfie, and not only was he such an awesome host, but we also really hit it off, and now we talk all the time!
