Are you tired of eating the same old meats and want to try something new? The ABAC Wildlife Society’s 11th annual Beast Feast is approaching on March 1 to introduce your pallet to new, rare foods worth salivating over.
Beast Feast opens at 6 P.M. in the Agricultural Technology Building, with dinner beginning at 6:30 P.M. The event features a multitude of dishes to taste. According to the ABAC School of Natural Resources, this includes venison, wild hog, ducks, geese, alligator, bobcat, various fish species, and more to come. This will only have your interest piqued for what’s in store. Like every year, people will have a chance to sample all of these foods in the dining room, possibly take back leftovers, and exchange conversation.
While the food is the meat of the event, there’s also fun everywhere else in the room.
A raffle will be held during dinner with prizes that will definitely catch any hunters’ eyes. The prizes vary from guns to sporting goods and even framed prints. Additionally, free door prizes are also being offered.
For anyone interested in attending ABAC’s 11th annual Beast Feast, one ticket costs $15, but children under 10 get in free. That said, if you are interested, buy a ticket immediately if you want to get some grub you’ve never tasted before! The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources advised that tickets sell out quickly.
