I think my valentine this year, and every year, is myself! No one can love, appreciate, and know you better than yourself. This year, be sure to surround yourself with people you love—it doesn’t have to be your partner! It can be your dog, best friend, or even your goldfish.
Valentine’s Day is all about love, which can come in many different shapes and forms. While someone else is getting flowers delivered to work, I’m eating my favorite chocolate and watching “10 Things I Hate About You.”

The best advice I can give you is to put yourself out there. Go to a club meeting that you think could be cool. Did you see a girl with a cool outfit on and think you would be good friends? Spark up a conversation with her!
People overcomplicate friendships when they can be as simple as starting by making someone’s day. Continue being your authentic, slay self, and I’m 99% sure you will find the friend for you!
