The 49ers shut out Mahomes and the Chiefs in the first half. Defense of the 49ers was were outstanding as they shut out Mahomes, but the Chiefs’ defense gave Brock Purdy trouble as well, pressuring Purdy on multiple possessions.

It’s not the Super Bowl without a halftime show. Iconic singer and dancer Usher performed at the year’s show. Usher performed some of his popular songs, including “U Got It Bad,” “My Boo,” and “Confessions Part ll.” He was accompanied by Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Lil Jon and others.

The 49ers started the game as they won the coin toss. The drive ended due to a miscommunication on the offensive line, which allowed a defender from the Chiefs to have a free shot at Purdy; they ended up settling fo a field goal, leaving Mahomes to do his magic work.

Even with the aggressive defense fo the 49ers, it was no match for Mahomes. Mecole Hardman, Jr. gave the Chiefs the game-winning catch to seal the deal, making the score 22-25. Mahomes finished with 33-46 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.

No NFL team has won back to back Super Bowl Champions in 20 years. The Chiefs look to win another Super Bowl Championship, and if they succeed, they will do what no other team has done: win three Super Bowl championships.
