May 2021 marks the tenth anniversary of Carry The Load.

What began as dream, a walk from West Point to Dallas during the month of May, to start a movement to remind all Americans of the true meaning of Memorial Day has blossomed into 365 days of activities across America and four separate relays all arriving in Dallas on the Sunday before Memorial Day and continuing with a 20-hour 21-minute walk around Reverchon Park in Dallas.

Over the past 10 years, we have raised over $27 million dollars and distributed 100 percent of donations to charities supporting our fallen heroes, including first responders as well as our Armed Forces heroes.

Possibly the best kept secret of Carry The Load is the Leg Captains who lead the Relay across America. It has changed many young Americans lives.

Many Leg Captains have come from ABAC: Kristoff Cohran, Matt Fryman, Rodney Troupe, Matt Reid, John Driscoll, Hadley Driscoll, Demarcus Bateman, Jo-Leigh Warren, Spencer Wilbanks, Victoria Burnett, Rilea Stapf, Aaron Harrell, John Hall, Rakeem Alexander, Chevy Young, Jalen Williams, Matthew Turner, Ainsley Cash, Austin Morris, Madison Woodson, Ginger Orton, Mitchel Sheffield, Hunter Gainous, Shannon Kehoe, Landon Rowe, Collin Vickers, Dustin Thomas, Justin Sears, Rachel Woodyard, and Cheyenne Turner.

As we get ready to recruit for our tenth year, I urge you to reach out to Matt Fryman to check out this life changing opportunity.
