If you’ve ever driven down I-75 or Highway 82 through Tifton, chances are you’ve either stopped at the local Chick-fil-A or seen it in passing. The prime location at the intersection of both the interstate and the highway makes the local Chick-fil-A a hotspot for travelers and locals to dine at. ABAC students also frequent the location to eat with friends or to grab breakfast before heading off to class.
Tifton’s location, while it may not offer any specific menu items, offers a quality dining experience all around. When asked about her experiences at the local Chick-fil-A, ABAC student Aubrey Rife said, “I’ve always had positive experiences at Tifton’s Chick-fil-A. They always get my food to me in a matter of minutes, and their staff is always very friendly.”
One recent change to the restaurant’s menu is the introduction of macaroni and cheese as a side dish. This has led many to wonder if the dish is worth trying. The dish is described as, “A baked dish that features elbow macaroni noodles and a mix of cheddar, parmesan and Romano cheeses.”
Having tried it myself, I can say that Chick-fil-A’s macaroni is enjoyable but is still not their best side dish (that title belongs to their waffle fries). The description of the dish is accurate, and the macaroni certainly has quite a bit of flavor. Overall, I would recommend the dish if you’re looking for a quick, yet enjoyable side of mac and cheese.
While Chick-fil-A may not be a local restaurant, the Tifton location always provides quality experiences for their customers. Whether you’re stopping by for mac and cheese or craving a chicken sandwich, you won’t regret your time spent eating “The Lord’s chicken.”
