Homecoming season has come and gone for the 2022 school year. Now it is time for the ABAC Alumni Association to start planning what to do for this new season. As of right now, the Alumni Association has a few things set in stone for the 2023 homecoming season.

Nominations for the Alumni awards will open July 1st and will remain open till August 15th. Anyone can vote for another person, whether the person who is voting is alumni, students, faculty, or staff, for any of the awards. The list of awards is as follows: Distinguished Alumnus Award, Master Agriculturalist Award, J. Lamar Branch Award for Agriculture and Natural Resources Leadership, Outstanding Business Leader Award, Outstanding Educator Award, Outstanding Healthcare Professional Award, Outstanding Young Alumnus Award, Miles A. Drummond Rising Star Award, Family Legacy Award, and Honorary Alumnus Award. If you want more information on these awards, please go to the alumni section on the ABAC website at https://www.abac.edu/alumni-and-giving/alumni-and-friends/#Alumni-Awards.

Stallion Day has also been scheduled for the 2022-2023 school year. The date for Stallion Day, for the Fall semester, is November 5th. With the Spring semester, the dates for Stallion Day are February 4th and April 15th. On Stallion Day, upcoming students can look forward to bringing documents to submit to admissions, ask questions, or apply for admission in Carlton with the help of the Enrollment Management Team, hearing from the directors of Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Scholarships on all the options available for financial assistance, enjoy fried chicken and listen to the ABAC Singers during lunch with a provided lunch ticket that is free of charge and an $8.50 ticket for other guests.

Students will also be able to stop by the Stallion Shop and pick up an ABAC T-shirt, hat, sweatshirt, and more. Homecoming week also has events for the students to enjoy all week long. One of these events is the annual rodeo. The rodeo will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 14th and April 15th, at 7 pm.
